Opower
Opower is a Software as a Service company that works with utilities to provide customer engagement solutions. Using gamification, Opower sent reports with your energy bill to show how much energy your household was consuming and how that ranked with similarly sized homes in your area. The competitive aspect paired with easy tips and tricks to lower electricity use was a smart and fun way to save the world, one watt at a time. At Opower I learned the inner workings of a brand and how to apply it in a variety of situations. My work was comprised of illustrating graphics for both web and print, designing mailing campaigns, internal and external events, trade show setups, marketing collateral, and company swag.
NYSE IPO
In 2014 Opower went public on the New York Stock Exchange. I had the opportunity to design the Opower experience on the sales floor including swag, banners graphics for the opening day brunch, and the graphics displayed when they rang the closing bell.
